Rapid City Regional Hospital Names 2009 Employee of the Year

Rapid City, SD – Luke Massingale, Certified Pharmacy Technician, has been named Rapid City Regional Hospital’s Employee of the Year for 2009. He has been employed with the hospital since 2006.

Each year the Rapid City Regional Hospital Employee of the Year is selected from the organization’s Employee of the Month winners. Employees of the Month are nominated by their coworkers or other employees. All employees then vote on the 12 Employees of the Month to select the Employee of the Year. The Employee of the Year is considered to be the highest honor among the 2,800 employees who work at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Massingale was honored at an employee celebration May 14. Also honored during the event were employees who have served five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years with Rapid City Regional Hospital.
