RAPID CITY, SD - If you love to golf, there is a fun upcoming event in which you can support a good cause while hitting the links. The annual Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Golf Tournament will take place at the Elks Golf Course on Friday, June 4. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit CMN at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
The CMN Golf Tournament is an 18-hole, two-person scramble event, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The cost to participate is $125 per person, which includes green fees, cart, a bag of golf gifts, and an awards lunch. The lunch is a steak grill for all golfers on the same day at the Elks Lodge. The presentation of awards will take place after lunch. Extra lunch tickets are available for guests at $18.50.
The registration deadline for the golf tournament is Thursday, June 3. Registration forms are available on line at: www.rcrhfoundation.org. (Click the “CMN Golf ” link.) In case of inclement weather, a rain date has been set for Friday, June 11.
The event sponsors include: Big D Oil Company, Matt McCormick/State Farm Insurance, Coca-Cola Bottling Company of the Black Hills, Magic 93.9, Black Hills FOX, Rapid City Journal, and the Rapid City Regional Hospital Foundation.
CMN helps make medical miracles happen throughout the area served by Rapid City Regional Hospital. With money raised through special events, such as the golf tournament, CMN is able to purchase medical equipment and fund programs for children’s services. All of the money raised locally stays within the area.
